Tales of Teller, Alaska. My husband and I decided to take a risk, pack it up and here we are, the village of TELLER... in ALASKA... in the Bush...on a Spit. Population 350 or so. Surrounded by the Bering Sea, Bering Straits. Port Clarence Bay and Grantley Harbor, We are here and are completely in awe of every aspect of natural beauty, new friends, new life, new traditions, new food, new cultures and a lot of learning about myself. ***I ENCOURAGE YOU TO PLEASE COMMENT OR ASK QUESTIONS***

I am waiting and waiting and waiting
This is one of many bus stops in Nome. I am not sure what bus it is for. I haven't seen any school busses. Public transportation are cabs. A ride in a cab is a flag 5.00 anywhere in town. Even from the airport to anywhere in town. People go to Airport Pizza first.
My neighbor Mandi asked me to go with her to Nome, WOO HOO!! She was taking her dog and a friends dog to get neutered.
We walked all over town. I mean walked and walked.
There are several of these bus stops and I am not sure why. Eventually I will find out. Cool aren't they?
